Effects of COVID-19 infection during pregnancy

چکیده

Women develop important changes in their cardiovascular and respiratory systems during pregnancy. They also have immune system which are necessary to tolerate foreign fetal tissue. These expected alterations can increase the likelihood of poor outcomes with certain infections, especially viral infection. There is extensive literature describing COVID-19 pregnant women, there evidence that this virus infect placenta, raising implications for maternal-fetal transmission. who contract pregnancy at increased risk preterm labor other perinatal complications when compared non-pregnant women. Trials on safety efficacy vaccines progress; several reproductive societies recommended women planning get or should vaccination since few reports adverse events received vaccines. Healthcare providers will need address concerns infertility, possibility vertical transmission, neonatal infection regarding timely against disease precautions.
